DR. JASON ISAACSON

Originally from Bloomington, Minnesota, Dr. Jason Isaacson comes from a family of dentists. Dr. Isaacson’s father, Dana, practiced dentistry for over forty years, and Jason was able to see his father build relationships with patients in his early childhood, which helped forge his desire to become a dentist.

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2005 in Bacteriology and Molecular Biology, he enrolled in the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, following in his father’s and brother’s footsteps. After this, he was selected to enter into an advanced residency through Idaho State University in Boise, Idaho. This unique experience allowed him to receive advanced training in oral surgery skills, complex restorative treatment, nonsurgical and surgical root canal therapy, implant placement and restoration, and hospital based dental care, along with IV sedation training.

Following this program, Dr. Isaacson moved to Wisconsin and served as a dentist in the Marshfield Clinic Health System for nearly twelve years. While serving members of the Northern Wisconsin community was rewarding, he always had a strong desire to go into private practice in Rice Lake, a community that he was lucky enough to discover through friendships he made in college.

Dr. Isaacson looks forward to being able to serve Rice Lake and the surrounding communities. He prides himself on attention to detail and dedication to continuing education, going above and beyond the minimum requirements of a licensed dentist. In 2015, he became a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry by completing 500 hours of continuing education and passing a rigorous exam covering all aspects of dentistry, an achievement which only six percent of general dentists have made.

Dr. Isaacson has extensive training through advanced programs such as the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, Spear Education, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, as well as the Postgraduate Program in Esthetic Dentistry through the University of Minnesota.

In 2021, Dr. Isaacson received Master status in the Academy of General Dentistry by completing over 1100 hours of continuing education in specific subjects of the profession. He is also a Diplomate through the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine after completing the Mastery Series in oral appliance therapy for patients with obstructive sleep apnea and snoring.

In his free time, Dr. Isaacson enjoys spending time outside with his fiancé, Jessica, and their English Setter, Cody.  He enjoys upland bird hunting, shotgun sports, golfing and skiing.

Dr. Isaacson looks forward to working with his patients to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a comfortable, personable, and professional environment.
